Our Story

From a Pickup Truck to a Full-Service Crew

GreenRoots Landscaping was founded in 2014 by Marcus Rivera, a third-generation horticulturist who grew up learning the land from his grandfather. What started as a one-man lawn care operation quickly grew as word spread that Marcus's work was simply better — more thoughtful, more precise, and more personal.

Today, GreenRoots is a team of 12 skilled professionals serving Austin and surrounding communities. We've completed over 500 projects ranging from simple lawn maintenance to complete outdoor transformations worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

We're still the same company at heart — small enough to treat every client personally, experienced enough to handle anything your landscape demands.
